COVER AND SIDE PANELS
The side panels were cut out using thick Maranti wood and a hacksaw (still need varnishing). The front panel is made from brushed 0.9mm stainless steel sheeting and formed by hand. The square hole was made using a cold chisel. Bad idea. Maybe Mk3 will be better. The small hole is for the IR sensor. The thing in the foreground is the removable rear support for the device (removed when in the car).
