THE FIRST AND SECOND GENERATION IRMANS
The first IRman is on the far right. The next four are far neater (one in car dashboard already). One thing I have noticed is the EXTREME sensitivity of the IR reciever (Green bulb things). To get them to work 100% I had to cover the reciever with 0.5mm of black Nitto tape. The part comes out of an RS catalogue. I think its so sensitive as a result of using a built in signal amplification? In theory the new IRmans could fit in a SMALL box. They work perfectly in Win98, but not 100% on my Linux machine. Still testing on other Linux boxes.
