KEYBOARD GOING INTO CAR

As horrible as this looks, it all fits neatly inside the side door panel (map compartment under door arm rest) out of sight. The keypad comes from an ancient Olivetti keyboard, where the backing is infact steel. Molds nicely into a curved section of my door panel. Once again I have bettered the odds and managed to solder onto graphite impregnated plastic. The keypad will be all that is visible, since I will be using adhesive floor tiles to stick it into place.

Why a keypad AND an IRman ? Because my IRman is'nt responsive enough. It lags significantly after a keypress and is a problem I intend solving, since it seems hardware realated. (I have used a "regular" Irman and it has the same problem).
