DETAILS OF BUTTONS ON FRONT OF CASING
This is what I originally had in mind. Mirror caps are used on screws when you install mirrors. I thought they looked pretty neat as a keypad. I got as far as building a keypad and prototype front panel before I changed my mind and went the totally IR route. The decision was partly based on the lack of space in the rear of the casing and the need to place the network card ontop of the ISA slots (taking up all the room). See other pics for the actual unit.
